After completing Crossroads, Tefahra wants you to test the defenses of an ancient tomb containing the supposed Essence of a Demigoddess named Q'tesh, the "Succubus". It is of the utmost importance the Cult of Anubis doesn't get their hands on such a thing.
There is a Guardian protecting the ritual vessel. You are prompted to now "travel to the Tomb of Q'Tesh".
When you reach the location of the buried tomb, you find the body of a dead Felian (Esi) and are prompted to "investigate the body and area". Do so.
I guess Esi got murderated by the tomb Guardian and crawled her way back out before succumbing to her wounds. But honestly she may have just been killed by bandits or even another Inquisitor despite the voiced lines from the Vessel.
Reading the journal reveals there is a Scribe named Khaba who has knowledge needed to overcome the Guardian. Best you get to that knowledge before any filthy Anubites do.
This begins Tales Of The Void. Go do that, get the Shattered Void Khopesh and then return to the Tomb of Q'Tesh.
Once you have the Shattered Void Khopesh, return to the tomb and enter the Tomb of the Ascended, prepared to defeat the Guardian.
Don't need to use the shiny new Khopesh just yet, unless you want to, but you have a long, winding tunnel filled with Cursed Ones and undead. So take your time, try not to lose a bunch of health and burn through your potions before the big boss fight coming up.
Boss fight time. The Guardian can only be damaged by the Shattered Void Kopesh. No shenanigans like in the days of old. Even sorcery doesn't hurt him. It's a game of cat and mouse basically. Very Soulslike fight. Stay near him, roll out of the way of his attacks and get your swings in inbetween. Good luck, Vessel.
Once you defeat the boss, remember that guy you looted for the Gate Key? There is a hallway to the left of his body. It's hard to notice in the dark, but it takes you on a turn and toward a gate you'll need that key to open. Unlock the gate and go outside. You're free at last!
Return to Tefahra.
She gladly takes the ritual vessel off your hands, to store it away somewhere safe no doubt. Quest complete! Another victory for the Inquisition.
