The Guardian of the Tomb of Q'tesh is a hulking stone-and-Void construct determined to keep intruders from tampering with the ritual vessel supposedly containing the Essence of the Demigoddess Q'tesh.
The old Inquisition really took their anti-grave-robbing initiatives quite seriously, don't you think?
You fight this bad boy at the end of Diamond In The Rough
Mechanics:
- The Guardian will do a running dash, attempting to trample you to death. Sometimes he swings and hits you twice during this jousting maneuver, so try extra to avoid this one.
- He will occasionally, if you're close, leap into the air with the intent to slam down on top of you. He will do this. It will hurt.
- He has a couple of melee strikes. One where he slams his fists on the ground, and then another where he sweeps an arm out at ya.
- Finally, if you are far enough away, he will punish you for keeping your distance by hurling massive slabs of stone at your face.
- The most important mechanic for this fight is to know you must have the Shattered Void Khopesh equipped to deal any damage to him at all. If you've been relying on ranged combat for everything up until this point, sorry bout ya.
