This page lists a short overview of the mechanics found in Carnal Instinct.
For each level beyond 1 you are awarded 3 attribute points which can be spent on the attributes found below. You gain experience from quests, killing enemies etc.
Some Gear requires levels to equip.
For each Carnal Instinct level you gain 10% Fertility & Virility, the main stats for Pregnancy. You gain Carnal Instinct experience via completing Scenes.
Carnal Instinct levels can also be used to unlock some extra Scenes & dialog.

Campfires are found around the world and, once unlocked, can be used to fast travel from the map menu.
Campfires are unlocked via walking near them (no interaction required).
They can also be interacted with in order to fast forward time.
Customisation is unlocked via the quest Masquerade, once completed you need to interact with the Shrine of Ascension to alternate your appearance.

Sorceries are unlocked via completing A Call to Adventure, which is available after Masquerade.
Once unlocked you can spend ability points at the Shrine of Ascension to gain sorceries, these then need to be equipped on this page (via dragging the icons to the three slots on the right). Afterwards you can switch between equipped sorceries via the tab menu in-game.
While there are limited points available they can refunded and moved between abilities freely.

Pregnancy requires completion of Masquerade and to switch to any form except the formless.
To enable pregnancy you then need to visit the Shrine of Virility to toggle the ability to impregnate NPCs and/or the Shrine of Fertility to toggle the ability to be impregnated.
