¶ Locations » Shrine of Ascension
The Shrine of Ascension (formerly known as Shrine of Cosmetics) is where the player can swap forms, skins, dongs or other cosmetics as well as learn/equip new spells.
Forms cost essence to unlock whereas sorceries require ability points.
As of v0.5.313 three ability points are available:
- Immediately after unlocking sorceries
- After defeating the Kravenrook during If It Bleeds
- After defeating the Anubite Priestess during Good Tombkeeping
Essence can be obtained from a number of locations, the most notable of these being Kethra's Gift.
Other sources include:
- 250 Essence can also be gained after killing in the Bloodseekers spawned in after looting the Raider's Talon
- Burning the effigies in If It Bleeds
- Killing Enemies around Sabu
- Completing certain Quests
In order to unlock the Shrine of Ascension you need to complete the quest Masquerade, to unlock sorceries you need to complete the quest A Call to Adventure.
