Merith is a magi who can be found in The Westlands. While not directly required in No Rest for the Wicked, when speaking to her you can find out how she's the Magi that hexxed Kusma. Being consumed by the void herself she also suggests that you consume the Night Lotus to empower yourself for 'the pinnacle moment of your existence in this world'. How ominous.
